I was just up tonight browsing and I came across this video link and after reading the emotional comments to it I had to watch it. At first I was wondering what in the world was this guy doing moving around all these rocks and tires and bales of hay and then he climbed this super steep mountain at the end after swiming across the ocean and then it all came together and I was like OOHHHHHHHH MYYY GAWWDDDDDD!!! (tears in my eyes...now..) Here it is:

What do you guys think of this? I'm kinda old fashioned I guess but I just thought this was the most amazing thing considering the guy filmed it all by himself and gave so much effort.

I think he needs to get over it.

Okay, after watching this film I did feel weird and do have some negative things to say, but to be fair I'm not gonna say any.

On a positive note, the video does have a good message in terms of going for what you want to do in life, as it has that "live strong" kind of feel to it, and I agree to what the ending caption said about telling someone how you feel. Because before you know it, you've missed the chance.

Ok, at first this made me LOL so much, though he did look good in that tight, white t-shirt.

When it started to come together it was pretty sweet.

So at first when I thought it was going to culminate in a proposal, I thought "okay, super cheesy and not for me, but hey, that's a lucky woman!"

However, knowing that he's created this homage to a woman who is no longer in his life (for reasons we don't know), I think it's more of a sad statement about this guy... that he's having trouble moving on... than a beautiful statement about enduring love.

My initial impression on what he's trying to say after watching it:

"I love this song. I love me. Oh, yeah.. I guess I love her too."

I just don't see this as some sort of a grand gesture of his love for her.. Maybe it'd be different if the first five minutes of a seven minute clip didn't seem to be more about him showing off than how much he loved her.

Hey is he the new Captain America?

And did you see he's using the popularity of his video to help fight Cancer!

I think I can understand why Loren's not around anymore. Sorry, this didn't do anything for me. It seemed very egotistical and cheesy.
