Shygirl15 Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 It may just be that picky, picky side of me looking for flaws once again, sorry. The last time I used internet love cards was about 10 years ago, when I was in my late teens/early twenties, and I haven't used them ever since. My current love interest who is 43, sends me a romantic e-card after each and every date (!). While I find that very sweet, it also sounds.. kinda immature..a bit? So before I draw any conclusions, can I please hear from you: just how many of us in our late-20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, or 60s still use these online cards to show love and appreciation for our SO?
whichwayisup Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 If it bothers you, tell him to stop sending you ecards...Otherwise just enjoy what he sends you! I don't think it's immature, it shows he is romantic and going out of his way to make you feel special.
Author Shygirl15 Posted October 30, 2008 Author Posted October 30, 2008 No it doesn't bother me. Just need to know if it's still a common practice in dating, or he's unique lol. I just started dating again less that a year ago.. still learning few things I missed out.
quankanne Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 sounds like he likes you ... a lot! I think it's kind of sweet
Author Shygirl15 Posted October 30, 2008 Author Posted October 30, 2008 lol.. ya think, Q? Thanks, I'll just chill out and enjoy the attention..
Chinook Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 It's not quite the same but I'm 38 and I still get e-cards from my girl and guy friends for special occasions or even just to say 'thinking about you'. I think it's kinda sweet too.

carhill Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 So, what do you do for him? A nice handwritten card is always appreciated Maybe that will give him a hint
