qweeet Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 Hello, I am a college student and just started my senior year. I met a girl through one of my classes a few weeks ago (she's two years behind me) and we have gotten together a few times, and now I'm trying to figure out how she feels about me. I asked her to get coffee and we talked for an hour and a half, mostly school related but also some personal stuff. A week later, I suggested we study together and most of the conversation this time was personal. We talked about school a bit but we both got into personal info for most of the conversation. After about two hours at the same coffee place as before she mentioned she was hungry and we went to get lunch next door. A few days later she emailed me to get notes for a class she had missed and we ended up studying together for another 2-3 hrs. Ok. Two days later I emailed and suggested we have lunch, but she didn't return my email and called later asking for help with an assignment. Said she had just seen my email right before calling but had too much work to go. She didn't suggest any other time, and we haven't talked since. (2 days). I'm afraid I got a little too close too soon and don't want her to think I'm clingy. Thoughts?
CommitmentPhobe Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 Ok, I think she's going to see your more of a buddy than anything else the reason is: 1. Talking about personal stuff, this is something that buddies do 2. Meeting up for coffee, this is something that buddies do Now if you took her out for a drink and flirted with her she might not see you as a buddy.
