I've been working out 4-6 days a week, and i notice my appetite has really increased as well. Is this typical due to a metabolism rise? Should I avoid eating more in order to lose weight or will my body go into starvation mode if i don't give in? I am currently on weight watchers. Thanks!

your body goes into starvation mode if you dont eat, you will start to burn muscle. The weight you gain from eating food will come straight back and its unhealthy. Best thing to do is eat 6 small meals a day and its normal to eat more when you work out. I eat like 10 times a day and people are always surprised at how much i eat but i train pretty hard. The metabolism rises if you've been going to the gym, it increases throughout the day unlike running does hope this helps.

Perfectly normal. I wouldn't avoid eating, though, the worst thing you could do would be skipping meals or cutting back. Listen to your body, if it's hungry feed it. As the other poster recommended, smaller more frequent meals are best.
