dakotamaiden Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 a guy ive known for 3 mths, at the beginning i got aggresive and wanted to go out with him, he said he didnt want a realtionship because he was no good at it. he had a wife that left him like 10 yrs ago . it devestated him, he'll never forget . plus before he came to our city he was in a relationship that didnt work out. i dont know details of either these relationships. we have become good friends, we talk on the phone 1 hr every week, we see each other at work. (we dont work in the same departments) we stare into each others eyes when we are talking. ther is devently chemistry between us. i watch his dog 2 wks a month when he works out of town. (i watch other peoples dogs too a little side business i have) the other day when he was picking up his dog he said "i love ya and you are great" then he went out the door kind of in a hurry. what does this mean. can he change his mind about getting involved with me and having a relationship. i feel he likes me . is there a chance we can go farther than friends. we are in our 40's. so not young young ha ha can someone please help me on this??? thanks

I think his, "I love ya and you're great" is that he thinks it's so cool of you to watch his dog for him for 6 months of the year.... he left in a hurry.... was the dog pulling? Classic Alpha behaviour....
