Found this ad on craigslist and found two guys advertising for a 3rd roomate in a pretty good location with good rent. Only downside? They are both single (like me)...one is 34...the other 40. I keep thinking to myself : "Great, I get to see what I'll be like in 10-15 years." I keep thinking to myself that moving in with two people at that age who aren't married can't be a good environment. Am I just being stupid about this?
D-Lish Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 Kinda... yeah. If they are single- they are probably going out scanning for chicks. If you are 24ish and they are in their 30's.... If you go out with them, you'll be the stand out guy. I am in my 30's and I am divorced and single- I used to live in some lofts surrounded by youngish people from 24-40ish. It was always a good time. My suggestion to you is to meet the guys first and discern whether they are duds or guys you could get along with. You might find that the 40 year old dude parties harder than both you and the 34 year old! And I am not really kidding about that.

You're still young so you're OK.. Men in their 30s and 40s shacking up like university students is not good.. IMO.. that's a huge turn-off for me..
