Confusedalways Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 In your opinion... when is the right time to ask for either exclusivity or perhaps an official type of relationship? I've been sorta seeing someone for about 2 months, nothing too major. I'm not going to ask him to be exclusive or official or anything, but I want to know at what point I can mention it and not scare him away. I mean, I DO eventually want to be official or whatever, but I wouldn't demand he do it by X date or see you later. I just would like to know that sometime it COULD be official. It would be more of a question of "is this going anywhere official" rather than "let's be official right now!" type of thing. Hopefully I'm conveying the difference properly. So ladies and gents, how soon is too soon? Bearing in mind I won't have sex with him until we are exclusive/ official. thanks!
TudorII Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 I think you answered your own question. For no other reason than your own safety it is a reasonable request to be exclusive if you are having sex. Even if the motives are more emotionally related the request for exclusivity in a relationship is completly fair when it comes to having sex.
