gummybear Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 I'm wondering whether it would be a good idea to have 2 dates on one day. FYI I've never even dated more than one guy at a time before, let alone 2 on the same day. But maybe sat afternoon one and sat night the other. Is that a good idea?
Geishawhelk Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 As long as they never meet, I don't see a problem...unless you're telling them both "Oh yes, this is serious...I want to marry you and have your labradors......" (you may not want kids.....! )
konfuzd Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 It could become a little awkward if the first date is goinng well, you lose track of time and have to excuse yourself to attend the next date. I was on a date with a guy I wasn't totally into. My cell phone rang with an unknown number. Usually, I don't answer my phone on a date, but this time I did for some reason. It turned out to be a guy I'd met the previous night that I was into. He asked if I wanted to get together that night, and since he was from out of town, I accepted and had to cut date 1 short. I felt like an ass, but, I'm still with guy 2 15 months later.
Lizzie60 Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 No problems.. I've had 3 on more than one occasion.. (and sex each time).. as long as they don't meet, wait at least an hour in between.. Enjoy?
tanbark813 Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 As long as you have time to shower in between.
Author gummybear Posted October 22, 2008 Author Posted October 22, 2008 I'm meeting them both for the first time in person so I suppose that is ok. But if for some reason they both go well and extend to a second, third, etc date I'm not too sure about kissing guy A at 2pm then kissing guy B at 6pm.....I don't know why, but it would feel so weird. Even just meeting them for the first time back to back feels weird. Interesting though, haha
CommitmentPhobe Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 Perhaps you can arrange a duel at 7pm to see who is the better suitor.
Author gummybear Posted October 23, 2008 Author Posted October 23, 2008 Ok, so just one date on Sat actually. What happened is that I actually like the other one alot more though he came off a bit desperate/shady. Among many things was that I really wanted to just meet up for coffee for a bit but he was trying to convince me to hang out with him for the entire saturday. He suggested I meet him at his place (red flag) and I told him that since we're meeting for the first time why dont we meet at the restaurant instead and he said that we should trust each other and that he'd think it be best to meet at his place (major red flag). So yea, he had go. I feel very disappointed that happened but also semi-relived in that I won't be going out with 2 guys, let alone on the same day. This is good. My reputation of dating one at a time still stands for now haha.
