My gf lead another guy on?

I have been with my GF for 8 weeks now and everything is going very well, but there is something that bugged me a little.

 

Thursday night she mentions that a friend of hers that she hasn't seen in 12 years would be in town for a few days and they might hangout. She used non gender specific words, and I noticed it, but I didn't want to come across as jealous so I didn't ask. A look at comments on her Myspace pretty much made it easy to figure out it was a guy.

 

My GF is still a virgin and waiting for marriage, so I wasn't worried about cheating, but it still bugged me that she used gender neutral words.

 

She never did hang out with him before he went back home. She stayed home Friday night, and spent Saturday with me.

 

Monday night she got a very long email from him. He told her she was very selfish and immature and a lot of other things.

 

Apparently she was supposed to let him know if she would be able to hang out Saturday, and she forgot to let him know she couldn't. He apparently sat around doing nothing all night. He got mad and wrote the long email, and deleted her from myspace.

 

Her Myspace still listed her as single, and she hadn't told him she had a boyfriend now.

 

She has now changed her status to "in a relationship" as of tonight.

 

I trust her, but I'm still bugged that she thought about hanging out with a friend that she knew had a crush on her.

I don't see the big deal. She left him hanging and now makes it clear she's in a relationship. You should be happy!

OP, just so you know, I was a virgin until I was 35. That doesn't mean I was celibate Seriously, "cheating" is far more complex than penises in vaginas. Not saying anything specific about your girl, but please do be aware.

 

IMO, don't use MS as a barometer of your "relationship". Your girl's actions will tell the truth. Good luck
