Big_AL_60 Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 I met this girl Wed. and Fri. I went out on my first date with her. She has a 6 year old daughter and plans with the babysitter fell through early Fri. so the date was cancelled. Then at the last second she found a babysitter and called me up and asked if I wanted to meet her. I live an hour away and I said yes. She told me where she'd be at and that her sister would be there with her. I show up, meet her and the sister. My attention of course is with the girl I'm going out on the date with and to me everything is going great. The conversation is going well, and she is constantly smiling, rubbing her hand on my leg, and every time I got up to get us beers she'd want a hug, later it turned to a kiss. When the night was over she told her sister she wanted me to take her home, so I end up taking her home, we talk some more. We both tell each other that we really like each other and before I leave we're talking about going on more dates. I get home and I'm tired so I take a nap. When I wake up I text her, don't get a response, try calling a couple of times don't get a response. Sunday the same thing goes on and I finally text her asking if she's mad at me, why is she not returning my calls. She texts me and says that she's been with her sister all day and her sister doesn't like me and doesn't want her to have anything to do with me. I ask if we can talk later and she agrees. She talks about the situation, once again says she really likes me and is still willing to go out on another date with me. Today I've text her a couple of times and have gotten nothing back. When I got home I've been removed from her friends list on myspace. The only reason I can think the sister doesn't like me is because we didn't pay much attention to her at the bar. Plus she told her she was mad that we left together and left her that night. To me it seems a little selfish, I'd think she'd understand that we were on a first date, and I can't understand why she would be so against me. I also don't know why if this girl really likes me, why would she take her sisters advice so much to heart? What should I do?
xpaperxcutx Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 Yikes! You went on a date with both her and her sister? What right of mind possessed you to do such a thing? I doubt you will have any more progress with her since her sister has made her shut you out of her life.

That's called a "red Flag".... if you think you have problems now, wait until the honeymoon! "Sisters, sisters, there were never such devoted sisters...." Think Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye... God help the Mister.....! I think as their relationship has lasted the test of time more than yours has, you wait for her to make a move. or not. As the case may be. Breath...... Hold..... Don't.
konfuzd Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 A girl who brings her sister on a 1st date and puts that much stock into what her sis thinks that early in the game is not worth a 2nd date if you ask me.
