Lizzie60 Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 It's over.. well almost.. I haven't slept with him for over 3 months.. I always find excuses.. I'm kind of tired of him.. He came over a few times.. but I told him I had a bf.. just so he would back off.. (he still thinks I am going out with someone).. anyway.. he sent me a few emails.. saying how he misses me, and he constantly thinks about me... blablabla.. but today.. he really pissed me off.. he was a smart azz at work and said something I didn't like.. he then left (he works about 20 min. away) he sent me an email.. and I didn't respond.. he sent me a few others.. no response.. asked me if I was angry.. no response.. He CAME BACK to my office.. ask me what was wrong.. but I was sooo pissed that I told him I couldn't talk .. I needed to cool off.. He said he doesn't know what he said to piss me off like that.. It wasn't a good day for me.. anyway.. he left... about 20 min. later.. I left for home... he was downstairs in the building, waiting for me.. asked me again what he said that made me angry.. then I was even more pissed at him.. he followed me on the sidewalk for a little while.. holding my arm.. I kept walking fast.. but then realized what he was doing.. (people that know us all around).. and left me alone.. I said I couldn't talk about it.. again I needed to cool off.. When I'm really pissed at something I just can't talk about it.. otherwise I start to cry.. I think I'm done with him.. but he doesn't know yet.. I haven't broken off with him for good.. he thinks he still has a chance.. I get tired after a while.. it's been 2 1/2 years now. it's enough.. What a day!!!!

I'm sorry you had such a bad day, Lizzie, but I think it's kinda cute the way he came back to the office and then waited for you until you came out of the building. I don't know, I'm a sucker for all that stuff. These situations get tricky when we work with these people, don't they? So, if he thinks you're dating someone, why would he think things aren't over between the two of you?

I think he still wants to have sex with me.. he said he will respect my decision.. anyway.. there is not much he can do.. he's married.. I know he likes me very much but he will get over... I was scared when we started... a few years ago.. when I first broke up with him. he went nuts.. crying all the time.. and he wanted to leave his W.. but I think he's OK now.. the fact that we work together is no big deal... we're in different locations..

Wow, how do you stand that? I could never imagine someone having that much power and control over me. Some of us love and cherish our independence, you know? How can you let someone control your mood that way? I mean you must have said how he "pissed you off" at least 6 times in that post. Arent' YOU in control? Who controls your moods? You or him?
