SushiX Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 We broke up about 3 weeks ago off a 3 yr. relationship. Things got pretty bad near the end of the relationship and she cheated on me. She's seeing the new guy now and I'm seeing someone new too. So she calls me last night and says she left a bottle of lotion at my house and would like it back. She also quickly asks about the new girl I'm seeing and tells me how great her new bf is, and that they had sex. Why is she telling me this? I was kinda pissed she called just for that. I don't wanna hear that crap. It was painful enough before, I just don't wanna go through it again. But in a way I was curious to see how her and her new bf are doing. And I wonder to myself if she still thinks of me sometimes and maybe have regrets? So I'm just wondering if any of you who have cheated or met someone new still think of the ex and maybe regret leaving him/her? And do you truly wish the best for them? For me, I secretly hope he breaks her heart so I can laugh in her face! hehehe (evil laugh). Gosh, breakups makes me such an evil person!

She probably told you that she had sex with her boyfriend just so that you would feel pain. Thats seems really low but it might be the truth. She probably wanted to know how you and your girlfriend were doing so that she can know whats going on in your relationship And she probably doesn't have any regrets seeing as, she moved on. From what it looks like.
Katherineos123 Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 Hi sushi. I feel as though its impossible for this girl to not think of you! You two were together for quite sometime, and its only been three weeks! To be honest, I cant believe that either of you are already dating again! I think she told you about her new boyfriend to get a rise out of you, to see how you would respond. In my opinion, its very immature, and it sounds like you should try and keep your distance from her, and if you really like this new girl, you should try and focus on making things with her wonderful! New love is so much fun!

Ever heard of this " what's comes around, goes around" or even Karma? Just enjoy with your current partner in this relationship. Best wishes to u!!
Author SushiX Posted October 16, 2008 Author Posted October 16, 2008 that's really evil of you. Ever heard of this " what's comes around, goes around" or even Karma? Just enjoy with your current partner in this relationship. Best wishes to u!! Well, she did cheat on me while i was an idiot for being completely faithful to her. I never even looked at another girl when I was with her. So yeah, hopefully Karma is on my side this time..
Geishawhelk Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 Karma doesn't take sides. It's not a question of "what goes around comes around." That's a clear and complete misunderstanding of what Karma is, if you would excuse me saying so, Heaventears..... Karma is Karma. It's an intangible process. It doesn't judge or criminalise. We do that enough for ourselves without then putting it onto Karma. You create Karma immediately for yourself, through your thoughts. Thus, wishing 'evil' on another person, you're already making bad Karma for yourself. We self-punish. We're good at that.
MichiganMan222 Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 Its possible for them to be thinking about you. My ex from two relationships ago (two years ago we broke up) to this day pries and gets jealous when she hears about me and my current g/f (recently ex g/f). And the ironic part is since we broke up, she got a new b/f and is still with him to this day (2 year anniv. coming up for them). I got a new g/f at the same time she got him (the new ex) and was with her this whole time until we recently broke up. The prior ex maintains she loves me and goes crazy when I contact my new ex. She hated her and always tried to convince me to end the relationship. So yeah, they can certainly love you, think of you, want to be with you even though they are in a commited long-term sexual relationship with someone else.
