10-4 Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 This ALWAYS happens. I'll meet a girl that I think I may be interested in at work or school or something, and then I won't see her for a LONG time just cuz the way things work out. Then I'll see her again maybe when I'm totally not expecting it and maybe even forgot about her so I'm caught by surprise. After this encounter, I'll be even more interested in her. So I'll think "Ok, next time I see her, I'm gonna ask her out" and then it just so happens that I run into her at the worst possible time. Like when I'm walking with my boss or her boss is there or I have to go to an emergency (I work in security) or something. Then a lot of times, she'll exit my life (quit working there or transfer from the school or whatever) and I'm just frustrated. Then I gotta wait for a long time till I find another girl I'm interested in and the whole thing repeats. How do you guys handle this situation? Thanks
Green Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 I handle it by not believing in the lame excuse my mind might come up with to avoid talking to a girl I like. First off there should be lots of girls peaking your interest, finaly if you go to school with a girl even if shes not in your class you will normaly see them more then once... and if you work with them then you just have to go out of your way to talk with them.
carhill Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 How do you guys handle this situation? Just start talking and ask her out. Being married has done wonders for my shyness .... but I did figure out the "save the small talk and just ask her out" part back when I was single. If there's chemistry there, it will be there nearly immediately and she'll be interested in continuing. It just how it works
Konfuzion Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 The way to handle this is to talk to them the first time you see them.
Author 10-4 Posted October 11, 2008 Author Posted October 11, 2008 The way to handle this is to talk to them the first time you see them. You mean just go ahead and talk and get their number then? What if it's not a good time or I can't tell if I'm interested (example: They are with a friend and their friend is doing all the talking)?

By the way its rarely ever a good time you just have to make a good time. I've never met a girl when I was just sitting around doing nothing and she the same.... no your always going to be up to something and so will she
Konfuzion Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 You mean just go ahead and talk and get their number then? What if it's not a good time or I can't tell if I'm interested (example: They are with a friend and their friend is doing all the talking)? Women love a confident man, this translates into the type of person that will man up in any situation and care for them when needed. A woman can also sense a lack of confidence, so if you hesitate even slightly to go up and talk to them a portion of your confidence (all be it small) was just erased from their mind. There is never a perfect or ideal time to approach a woman, use the situation to your advantage even i.e. I am really sorry to bother you as I can see your busy talking but I would really like to take you out sometime and just have some fun, let me give you my number.. ok? I don't know just run with whatever comes up for you, never try to premeditate what you want so say as that never comes off good, just walk up to her and be yourself. This is my mantra when it comes to meeting women I use to be shy and scared and it got me no where. Not I am sure I can have a date just about every night of the week with a beautiful woman if I so choose. Just remember you have nothing to loose a "no" will not kill you. Trust me I have had many, and for every "no" you are that much closer to a yes Good luck to you, and I hope this helps.
Author 10-4 Posted October 12, 2008 Author Posted October 12, 2008 That's a good point. Thanks a lot guys.
