Brady_to_Moss Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 This girl i am with...great all around...little bigger in the waist area and i dont mind one bit:)..buddies always give me **** saying why did you go for her? umm maybe because i like her?/ Last year she was somewhat of a bitch to me and my friends but does not feel that way about me anymore but my buddies still feel shes a bitch. I dont care what they think really becasue it me and my life, not theirs..but why are guys like this?

popey Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 maybe b/c just like girls/women are bombarded w/ messages that their worth and desirability is based on the degree to which they can achieve the "ideal" appearance; boys/men are conditioned to measure their value and desirability by the degree to which they can obtain that woman. this is frustratingly debilitating to people of all physical types in lots of ways. If you have some superior ability to overcome this common stifle, and be happier for it; those of us weaklings who do not- may not know how to be happy for you without feeling further frustrated with ourselves. ... or maybe its just b/c she was a bitch ;-)

In the context of your boyfriend's appearance, but you should always take your friends views into consideration, if they think he is a shady character. Friends are there to look out for you, remember! I used rip shreds out of my friend for his choice of girlfriend, but I secretly found her attractive, I was quite jealous at the time as well.
