This will be my first date since breaking up with my husband and I've decided, if this man appeals to me even a bit that I'm going to sleep with him. I don't want to bring him here or go to his place, would it be too forward of me to have already made reservations for and paid for a motel?

There is nothing wrong with your motivation if it works for you. Since the sex is your primary motivation, who cares if it seems forward? It also says take charge and confident. In a reckless kind of way. lol

True but I'm not comfortable with the option of going to my house or his,perhaps I'll just make a short list of places that have vacancies on Sat that way if it's a go I can find a room quickly, if it's not no loss. If I were freshly separated and just wanted to get laid with NSA, I would go hang out at a hotel bar with a friend. There are always guys in there, they typically have a room already, the majority of them are employed and can afford to buy you a drink, and you will likely have your pick of the men that you talk with. If you like him, then off to the elevators you go, and your friends knows you are safe. If you don't, then you talk to the next guy in the bar.
