Bells Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 I have a male friend who is in a serious relationship ask me about a girl I like, and I was telling him how she's not "dating right now" and he said, don't let that stop me.....and just say to her, "I'm not dating now either, how about we just grab a bite to eat or see a movie flick?" Apparently that worked with his current girlfriend when he first met her....same method he's all his single life. Would something like that work?
Geishawhelk Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 Well obviously yes, for some. But not everyone's "programmed" the same way, are they? So what's good for one situation, may not work in another. But it's definitely worth a try. Why not?

Well, I hear some people think "Well, if you're using the same method, try something different" Well, I'm an advocate of using the same method until someone actually says "Yes" to going out with you. Apparently HE used the same method time after time. I'm aware everyone is different, so you just keep doing what you're doing until someone actually "goes along" with it.
Lucky_One Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 Are you just trying to figure out how to ask a girl out? If so, then yes, that is one way to do it.
Author Bells Posted October 9, 2008 Author Posted October 9, 2008 Yeah, he says, "if nothing comes of it...it's good practice"
