What does "I'll be around" mean?

Ok, i have posted a few times about a guy I like in my building. Almost every time I talk to him, he closes with "I'll be around." Or "I'll see you around." Is this an "it is what it is" situation where that is just how he says "bye" or do i need to read into him further? Please comment if you can. Thanks

I think you may just be reading into this a bit much I say ill see you around all the time just like a cya later gesture
