Davey McG Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 This weekend I had a party and invited lots of friends from up and down the country. My best friend, who I haven't seen in about 5 or 6 months came. I am really worried about him. He was different at the party. He was aggressive to people and at the same time highly defensive. He was rude and threatening. I took him outside after he made a threat to my wife. He said that he was joking and that it was taken the wrong way. I eventually got him to apologise to her and she was able to get more out of him (she's a teacher who's used to dealing with troubled youths and she said he reminded her of some of her pupils). He didn't tell me, but from what my wife was able to ascertain, he's been involved in violent situations. He says his ex was raped after they broke up and then had an abortion only for her to work out in the timings it wasn't his. He also said he's done some bad things in relation to this, some of which he told her about and others he didn't, but mainly involved kicking people's asses. Does anyone have a clue what is going on? What can make a previously happy-go-lucky romantic turn into someone so cold and angry? The saddest part is that I don't believe the stories he was told by his ex. Lots of the details don't ring true. But my friend has changed and become an angry man who managed to alienate a lot of people in one night.
