The whole thing seems fkd up even moreso as daddy was ok about it:sick: I have a daughter 16 and i would never give it my aproval.. big red flags here now also
Sysyphus28 Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 29 and 15 is mental. Five years ago you were 23 , she was 10 years old. Geez dude. Billions of people on the planet, leave this ONE alone. It sounds like a trainwreck situation!! Just my observation. I am 28, and I am "young for my age", I wouldn't date a 15 year old if she looked like jessica alba!

Lishy Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 Liar!:laugh: I doubt very much he is a liar! What you did was child abuse! The fact her parents allowed it is even more worrying Are you aware you are old enough to be her DAD?
Lucky_One Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 I am confused. Timeline here? Married to H#1. Cheated. H#1 killed in a horrible accident. Married to H#2 for 9 years. Divorced 6 months. Yes?
All Star Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 I think your right, that's a huge red flag. Thanks, Looks like you're a HUGE RED Flag. Wouldn't 24 be too old for a CM?
Adunaphel Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 Should I just ignore her, or be polite and tell her why it's not going to happen? You could tell her that it's not going to happen without explaining why in detail.
Lucky_One Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 At first glance, she sounds a bit like one of those girls who always has to have a man around to admire her and make her feel good about herself. As well, she may be looking for someone to take care of her and three children. She may be sort of known as "poison" in her town now, if everyone knows how your friend was killed in traffice after he found her cheating on him, and then having a subsequent divorce (especially if she married the other man in the first marriage); she might be looking for an import or a ticket out of town.
Geishawhelk Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 LOL! Well she has been married for the past nine years, she's only been divorced for six months which worries me a bit. Thanks for the replies. I thought her husband killed himself.... or is this now her second marriage she's divorced from....?
Geishawhelk Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 I feel like Rip van Winkle...I clicked on the first post by mistake. Didn't realise immediately we had 3 pages here.....there I am replying to page one.... sheesh! "Geish....?" "What....?" "Shaddup." "Ok."
Kamille Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 I feel like Rip van Winkle...I clicked on the first post by mistake. Didn't realise immediately we had 3 pages here.....there I am replying to page one.... sheesh! "Geish....?" "What....?" "Shaddup." "Ok." Your comment is still relevant as I don't think we've figure out yet whether the husband who killed himself was first or second husband. Or have we?
a4a Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 Rooster ..... 15? What the heck is wrong with you? That's not right and go shove that skeleton right back in the closet where it belongs! At 15 nobody has a brain in their head about relationships or emotional matters..... you were a flippin' adult! YIKES!!!
Author Rooster_DAR Posted October 7, 2008 Author Posted October 7, 2008 I thought her husband killed himself.... or is this now her second marriage she's divorced from....? I was referring to her first husband (I think he was her boyfriend though, not married). I don't know the whole story, I don't think I should dismiss her that quickly without hearing her side. If all we did is judge because of rumors, what kind of people would we be. She has a nice house, good job, so it seems some things are in tact. She offered to drive up her to my city to see me and stay for the weekend, I think it would be okay to find out exactly where she at in all of this. So the two real negatives here to me are: She has been divorced for only six months (with three kids)She was underage when I first dated her Not confirmed:Ex committed suicide over her infidelity I also failed to say that I did not date her very long, I knew dating someone that young was trouble so I broke it off with her only after a few short months. We remained good friends for years after that. Thanks for you responses, (and daggers:o) Cheers!
Geishawhelk Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 No daggers from me. Whilst obviously age is a factor insofar as the Law is concerned, I do know (particularly in the USA) that it's a "moveable feast"....It depends what state you live in. And let's be really honest here... when we project images in TV adverts for girls' toys and stuff, and depict girls as young as 9 with make-up on, wearing minature version clothing of adult gear.... is it any wonder girls 'grow up' fast? They don't have a childhood to speak of, and anyone would admit that young girls not only look older than their years, but actually attempt to look much older. I'm not negating the legality, I've said that. But each case is different.
Lucky_One Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 Why staying for the weekend? Why not have a "date" before you jump into a situation complete with bedrooms, until you get to know her all over again and find out what is really going on?
Author Rooster_DAR Posted October 7, 2008 Author Posted October 7, 2008 Your comment is still relevant as I don't think we've figure out yet whether the husband who killed himself was first or second husband. Or have we? He was first, I don't think they were married but I'm not sure.
a4a Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 Lets say you just met this woman online and knew her history...... dated 30 year old when 15 + 3 kids (not sure who is who's kid in the posted M/R's) + 1 guy is dead or killed himself + recently divorced. MAJOR DRAMA Now add up your end of things....... Looks like a cluster F of a drama bomb waiting to explode once you mix the two.
pretty professional Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 No offense, huh? Wonder why people like to use this line when they want to get offensive. Okay, time to sleep. Goodnite everybody. Eh, don't take it personally. It's not any more offensive as when people use the term 'retarded' or 'gay.' People on here use those terms unPCly all the time, you're not up here on your soap box calling them out.
allina Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 :eek: I really hate to get off topic but, what sort of father lets a GROWN MAN screw his 15 year old CHILD?!?! Holy cow! I would have the guy thrown in jail! RD, you got lucky. Guys on that 'To Catch a Predator' show do prison time for this.

It's if any consolation, I did break up with her after a few months of realization. I'm embarrassed.
Ms. Red Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 Rooster, I want to send you a PM. Do you not have them enabled for a reason?
Author Rooster_DAR Posted October 8, 2008 Author Posted October 8, 2008 No, do you have to enable them?
Author Rooster_DAR Posted October 8, 2008 Author Posted October 8, 2008 Okay, I found the option and enabled it. I had it set to only accept PM's from moderators and people in my list.
Jersey Shortie Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 Are you mentally impaired in some way? And is she? I can't fathom any other reason why an adult at 29 couldn't know that what he was doing was completely sceevy. No matter how immature you were at 29, unless you are mentally handicapped in some way, you should be able to grasp the simple concept that 15 year olds are both not physically or mentally mature. This is like Days of Our Mentally Impaired Lives. Wow. Just wow. To Catch A Predator much.
Green Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 Question one should rooster dar do anything with this women of his past who has 3 kids.... That alone would make me say no Second off does rooster deserve our anger for messing around with a 15 year old yes , he sure does. Finaly would that poster who said he wouldn;t mess with a 15 year old who looked like jessica alba lie to us... yes you can bet your ass a hot 15 year old comes onto you your in trouble. This is exactly why I will never teach High School or be a cheer leading coach or anything else that would put me in a possition of power where teenage girls are going to be having crushs on me. Unless those teenage girls are of the age of consent
