lofi_tokyo Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 Hey! My ex and I broke up and he immediately started dating another woman (whom he was having a bit of an emotional affair with, hence the break up). I am wondering, will he ever come crawling back? This is not a question of me wanting a second chance so much as me wanting to like... see him admit he misses my company. I'm really happy on my own, and I am not waiting on this magical moment of him crawling back... but you know, sometimes I do miss his company, and while I think we are happier apart than together, I would like to hear him admit he missed/misses me too. I guess its not a super pressing question, but I guess I was curious if anyone on this forum has been left by their partner, for another person, then later found their ex missing them? Does that happen? ;p Sorry if I sound crazy
RecordProducer Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 If he loved your company, trust me, he misses it.
MrEELB Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 I have my own life dilemas at the moment, but responding to your question from the other side of the fence. 7 years ago my ex and I had a really really bad patch. I took the cowards route out and I did the unthinkable and was unfaithful. Do you know what, I hated it. I missed her querks, I missed her company. I missed her. She fought for me, and after some tough months we sorted it. If you really were a great couple and he really cares/loves you some times not knowing what you have until its gone is a thing that needs to be experienced.
Author lofi_tokyo Posted October 5, 2008 Author Posted October 5, 2008 Thanks for your responses! Its nice hearing the good times we shared will, most likely, be appreciated. And I think you're right MREELB, sometimes you have to let someone experience other people so they appreciate what you were to them. My ex and I never had any HUGE issues, aside from long distance. But I think... were so young, both him and I need to have other relationships to realize whats really important.
