He did small little things like purposely searching for the boutique that I could find the shirt that I've been finding for so long. Bringing me there. But when I said that I appreciated it and to me it's something, he told me that it's nothing and i need not take it to heart. I replied "So u think I shouldnt?" And he said yea. What does he mean? I really need clues. Advices anyone? Thanks He brings me out to movies, treats me dinner. refuses to let me pay, sends me home. I wonder if he's just being a gentleman, but i'd really hope that he'd stop doing all these if he's not into me, bcuz I might get the wrong idea.. And I don't wanna get myself burnt all over again. He calls me up once just to disturb me. He hangs out with his ex.. 1 on 1 too.. and tells me that they're still friends. as far as i know, they hung out twice already. Help yea thx.

I don't think that means anything about how he feels about you - I do it to everyone (unless I dislike them, and then I make a BIG deal about how much trouble I went to). He could just be the same way, and dislike a big deal being made of him. As for whether he is into you? I have no idea! I doubt he would keep asking you out, if he wasn't, though.

By complimenting him you are doing the right thing...and when he downplays it he is being polite about it. He obviously likes you..if he didn't he wouldn't be buying you dinner and then not letting you play.
