Jersey Shortie Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 ...... It's that things aren't always how you think they are. You never know what other people are really thinking even if you think you do and you never really always know why people do the things they do even if you think they do. I have had so many cases of me thinking that a person did this for that reason or were thinking this and have been wrong. Which was actually a good thing because I sometimes would end up thinking the worst. So that's one thing I have learned to not think I know people as well as I do. What is one thing you've learned?
lonelyandfrustrated Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 I used to believe that all people were good at the core. That if you could reach a person's soul, you'd find that we were all the same and had good wishes for one another. I have learned that some people are rotten at the core, and others have no soul. I don't think that's a lesson you can teach someone. You have to see it for yourself. But I have also learned that you can't tell from the outset who the soulless ones are, so I'll go on assuming that people are good...okay, maybe I learned that I'm a fool, lol.
TooLittleTooLate Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 That the past defines who you are, because "fake it till you make it" is BS.
Eve Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 What is one thing you've learned? That life is what I make of it and that its ok to laugh at other people, even when really you shouldnt.
JackJack Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 The one thing that I have learned is, that my intuition about people has usually been correct.
Eve Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 The one thing that I have learned is, that my intuition about people has usually been correct. I must agree with your observation. SO true!
Green Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 I learned how to have multiple orgasms off the same boner
Ruby Slippers Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 People don't change. When you discover what a person is like, make your decision then on whether to accept it and be friends/lovers/whatever with the person or not. If you can't accept it, move on, because it won't change.
