IceIceBaby Posted October 4, 2008 Posted October 4, 2008 I am 26 years old and have been with my boyfriend for two and a half years. I have lived in NYC for two years and am completely sick of the city noise and loud neighbors. I have considered moving back home which is over an hour outside of the city. This would also give me the other opportunity to save money and buy my own place sooner. The commute wouldn't bother me, but the amount of time I could spend with my boyfriend would definitely go down. And that does bother me. I'm curious if people think this would ruin our relationship because I honestly don't know how often we'd see each other. Sometimes I'm just so miserable in the city and he's the only reason I stay here. Any thoughts?
Green Posted October 4, 2008 Posted October 4, 2008 I saw a movie called step brothers about 40 year old men who live at home. Damn I wish I could move back home........ Do it follow your dreamz girl
Emilyy4256 Posted October 4, 2008 Posted October 4, 2008 I was born and raised in NYC and i loved it, but that's because i was used to it, you know? I would say give it time, and you'll eventually adjust, but two years and you're not happy? I think you should really do what you think will make you happier. Sit down and talk to your boyfriend about it. Hopefully he understands. Hope this helps. :]
