Me and my ex split about 1 month and a half ago. And unfortunately didn't follow the no contact rule. But anyways, during that month he has been away at training and came back to town on the weekends. So he would ask if i wanted to go to dinner and of course i would go.

then one weekend I invited him over to my place for dinner because i was going to mention i was patching things up between the two of us. he just acted very strange and i couldn't quite put my finger on his "deer in the headlights" look and he was definitely in a rush to leave. (i had done some investigation to find out he had went down to his friends house and they invited a female to "hang" out with them at the fair")

so the next day he came by my house to drop off some stuff and bought me lunch and we went and sat by the lake. i noticed he was getting a text, so i asked him about it. he said "its my buddy from down south." and I said "oh that girl!" and he looked at me, "ya she's a girl, but its not like that." I didn't buy it for one second. I immediately got sick to my stomach and told him to take me home, please.:sick:he didnt deny that he was interested in her.

so just a few days ago, just this last tuesday 4 pictures of him and this girl cropped with them being cuddly, on his one friend's myspace page and i confronted him about.and he told me very calmly "its not what it looks like. those pictures are staged for the camera. that girl is not all that ttrust me!"

HOW DOES SOMEONE DEAL WITH SEEING THAT KINDA stuff? That image is burned in my head now.:eek:

And I am not so sure I want to get back with him after that, cause that was brought up the other day.

You go back to the first sentence, and change it to read:-

"Me and my ex split about 1 month and a half ago. And this time, I am determined to follow the no contact rule."

And that's what you do.

You stop calling, you stop texting, you stop myspace-ing, you stop e-mailing, you stop MSN-ing, you stop receiving, you stop.

Full stop.

Cut it out.

Cut him out.

Cut!

It's a wrap!

Ok everyone, thank you!

Could you repeat that, please?

You stop calling, you stop texting, you stop myspace-ing, you stop e-mailing, you stop MSN-ing, you stop receiving, you stop.

Full stop.

Cut it out.

Cut him out.

Cut!

One more time?

You stop calling, you stop texting, you stop myspace-ing, you stop e-mailing, you stop MSN-ing, you stop receiving, you stop.

Full stop.

Cut it out.

Cut him out.

Cut!

I just want to make sure I understand...

You stop calling, you stop texting, you stop myspace-ing, you stop e-mailing, you stop MSN-ing, you stop receiving, you stop.

Full stop.

Cut it out.

Cut him out.

Cut!

...because there might be exceptions to this rule, you know, special case kinda deal.

You stop calling, you stop texting, you stop myspace-ing, you stop e-mailing, you stop MSN-ing, you stop receiving, you stop.

Full stop.

Cut it out.

Cut him out.

Cut!

OK...got it...thanks.

Sunkissedgirl -

Sorry about the levity. I'm not making light of you or your situation; but I can tell you, through my own experience, and that of many others here...NC is the way to go.

Following through on that pledge is hard - really hard! But it is the best thing you can do for yourself.
