Should I be tested?

My husband of 14yrs and I have separated because of his affair. I was so hoping that we could work things out, but I'm afraid that's not going to happen. They have set up house together. It still hurts me to think about it. But in time I'm sure I will be ok.

My question is "should I be tested for any sexually transmitted diseases".

Him and I had unprotected relations during the whole affair.

Now, I'm worried.

Yes, and please ask you OB/GYN to include HPV testing in the pap smear.

YES! Second the HPV testing. Though there's no cure, certain strains put you at a higher risk for developing abnormal cells which could lead to cervical cancer!
