My ex and i are friends and we broken up for about 3 months. We never really did the no contact, before when the breakup happened, we didn't talk for a while but it didn't last long. Now things are okay, we're friends and talk once in a while, he calls me sometimes and vis versa. He tells me whats hes been up to and his plans sometimes.

Anyways, I usually feel fine and okay but when my period comes (or on the way) i break down and feel so depressed. This lasts for about 2 weeks, one week before it comes, and the week during. Anyone got any tips? I feel like I don't want to do a thing cept cry cry cry. Even without my period, i do miss him and love him, but i'm ok w/the fact that we broken up and that i have to move on. But when my PMS comes, i just break down.

He's not the problem, it's your hormones.

Tell me about it - !! :D

Try Oil of Evening Primrose, Agnus Castus, a good vitamin supplement like Magnesium OK and something with folic acid in it rather than iron. You might need Zinc, because a lot of women with PMS have a Zinc deficiency.

Look at some Bach Flower remedies, and maybe homeopathy. Sepia works very well for me.....

When you can feel the blues coming on, if the weather permits, take a good brisk 20 minute walk. Not only is it good for you, but it releases 'feel good' hormones. In winter S.A.D (Seasonal Affective Disorder)might be a problem, so try to get a bit of daylight for a couple of hours if you can.....
