guitarplaya92 Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 asked girl to homecoming at highschool, she said yes. 4 days before homecoming she tells me she wants to go but mother is b**ch. trying to think of a way to do something for her on the day of homecoming. anything appreciated even random ideas as long as it is hear before friday thank you.
JoeNewbie Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 Call her up and play Stairway to Heaven over the phone. Make sure you have a quality speakerphone.
Lucky_One Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 Do you mean that her mother won't let her go? Or that she was venting to you that she thought her mother was being mean about something? If her mother won't let her go, then I can't really think of anything that would make her mom let her go to Homecoming. How old is the girl, and how old are you? That could have a BIG bearing on how her mom feels about this. If you are asking about something to do to cheer the girl up, you can always do the tried and true idea of sending her some flowers to her house. That may be a little pricey for you (since you are in HS), so you can always do something cheaper, like go sneak a pumpkin onto her front porch, with a note tied to the stem.
Author guitarplaya92 Posted October 2, 2008 Author Posted October 2, 2008 we are both nearly 16, she got in verbal arguement with mom got grounded. money not to much of a problem. may send flowers to her house not much i can really think of that would cheer her up.
xpaperxcutx Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 The flowers will wilt after a day or two. Why don't you spend homecoming with her by having a little homecoming of the only the two of you. You can ask her parents if you can borrow her backyard and put up lights and candles. And the both of you can dance to some crooner on the stereo speakers. Or is that too old fashioned?
Author guitarplaya92 Posted October 2, 2008 Author Posted October 2, 2008 The only problem i should of mentioned is that she is being disciplined for arguing with parents, soo i dont think that will work. but thx for idea:)
