John777 Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 I texted my ex-gf today and was telling her that I had a hot sexy dream about us. She responded by saying how funny it was and she doesn't dream of us anymore and she can't even imagine having a dream like that. Does this mean she's over me?
Rafa Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 Well it's hardly a good sign mate, what do you think?
bubblegum Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 She's telling you she won't take the bait and get into "sexy talk" with you.
Author John777 Posted September 30, 2008 Author Posted September 30, 2008 I think you are both right. I feel shot down.
Geishawhelk Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 You should only feel 'shot down' if you were still with her. You're apart. Really, don't text her any more. if you've gone your separate ways, it's always going to be like this. The best way to deal with rejection is to not put yourself in the position of being rejected in the first place. Really.
Karma101 Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 Ouch. Sure sounds like she's over you. I think I'd text her back and say "I was just kidding!" LOL.
jimmymat87 Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 yer u shuld of wrote back straight away saying "yer it was wierd i woke up feeling hell grossed out"
nopainnogain Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 how long you guys been broken up and why did you guys break up?
Katherineos123 Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 Im going to play Devil's advocate here, maybe she was playing it cool to see how youd respond to her. People play some strange games when the heart is involved... She may be just feelin you out. How long have you been broken up? How close are you now?
Author John777 Posted October 1, 2008 Author Posted October 1, 2008 She broke up with me 3 months ago (last time we had sex), but a few weeks ago, we had a 45 minute make-out session. She broke up with me because the relationship was too much for her. She's always said that she loves me but she's trying to move on and get over me. We don't talk everyday like we used to and when we do, our conversations are pretty short and about everyday stuff. We really don't talk about us. When she texted and said she can't imagine having a dream like that about us, I changed the subject.
Crazy.S Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 i dont know if she have moved on. but your op about the dream thing has nothing to do with indicating if she did. even though she used to dream about you guys, doesnt meant it used to be sexual. most girls i know dont have those type of dreams. i could be wrong but thats what i know. most likely she hasnt completely moved on because it takes time for people to move on, even for the dumper. but it will take her less time to move on, so dont get surpised when she actually does
Author John777 Posted October 1, 2008 Author Posted October 1, 2008 I'm not sure if she's never had 'sex dreams' about us but I do know that sex was never an issue. To the contrary, she has a very high sex drive and we always engaged in text/sex conversations. She was always very eager and enthusiastic talking about sex with me. I think that's why I find it strange that now she's saying she can't even imagine having a sexual dream about us.
Karma101 Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 I don't have sex dreams about xBFs, but that's just me!

If sex was never an issue for the two of you before, then I'd conclude she's not interested in having any sex talk with you. If she's not over you, she's definately on her way. Do yourself a favor and don't mention any sex dreams again. You'll be setting yourself up for a let down.
Author John777 Posted October 1, 2008 Author Posted October 1, 2008 Why did it bother me when she said she doesn't dream about us anymore? Was it just my ego? I felt terrible when she said that. I'm feeling pretty low.
nopainnogain Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 Dont anylize too much. We cannot control our dreams.
