Yes.

As I said.

Bitter.

:(

Not bitter but I walk the earth without blinders on.

'No matter what age a woman is, take ten years off her and she'd be hotter.' How about that thread? You ladies would no doubt see the hilarious, light-hearted nature of that one I'm sure.

Some women are more mature than some men. And sometimes 'mature' means old, bitter and no fun. And that goes for both sexes.

Ehh...... 10 years ago I couldn't afford new boobs.... suck the fat off my thighs or a nose job.... so hotter now. :lmao:

See it is funny to many mature women.

Man guys have such a hard time when the women folk say anything bad about them. I thought dudes were supposed to be tough and not so sensitive. Fragile little things aren't they ladies? :p

Actually it's women who whine and cry when a man says something negative about them. I just return the fire when women start spouting their misandry.

It's all a matter of perception.

What you seem to perceive as reality is, in my eyes, an indication of your disappointment and delusion.

You've been cra**ed on from a great height, and I have to say, I've never read such negativity in posts as I have in yours about women. I don't remember the last time you cracked a joke or had a laugh on this forum, anywhere.

Many women - and men - have also experienced great hurt and loss, but I've seen plenty of jokes and fun from those who have been through the mill, as well...I've had enough so-called negativity in my life to make me want to slash my wrists, in the past....

What makes your experiences soooo much worse, that you've lost the ability to have a good laugh - at yourself and others?

Don't you miss laughing with men - and women?

I actually have a good sense of humor but this thread is not a joke.

Woggle........ woggle ....... woggle.......

we all cheat....

we all lie

we all are out to get you!

We have a network that you men don't know about. Oprah sends us subliminal messages on her show..... we know .... we hear everything.

Mawhahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!

I thought it was! I've dated men 20 years my senior and men in the same age range. I can definitely tell a difference in how they process things and react to situations. To a degree, the generality of this thread, IME, has been true. But, like the male posters who've referred to every woman is hotter if you erase 10 years, so too is the case for men. Being intimate with a 52 year old man vs. a 33 year old man is quite the noticeable difference. Men and women all experience the same types of things and have the same types of opinions, whether we care to admit it or not.:)

That again, is a matter of perception. Some men have found it funny.

What do you say about their sense of humour?

Are they wrong?

Or could it just be that they know how to have a bit of a laugh and not be so far up themselves that they can't see daylight any more? ;)

I think it is so funny that men think they are so significant that we would spend the time to plot against them.

I really don't like certain types of candy bars... Snickers suck in my view. But I don't plot, plan, and desire to have them pulled from the grocery shelf. It just isn't that important. :lmao:

We get it you hate men. I don't think that women plot against men but most of them are not trustworthy at all for a man to involve himself with. I don't plot against women but I do advise men to protect themselves.

Woggle just made me laugh on the Palin Dinosaur thread about two minutes ago.

I'm not being a humorless party-pooper, and far be it from me to stem the molten comedy gold of this thread, but in modern society you can joke about men being as pathetic and stupid as you like, and it's all supposedly good fun. But make a joke - or more importantly a valid criticism - about women, and a million knee-jerk women and their defenders will come down on you like a ton of bricks, whining (deliberate usage of word generally used to shame male complaints) about sexism, women-hating, misogyny, bitterness, or having a small penis.

Generally, you girls can dish it out but you can't take it. Also you can't catch and you run funny.

AllStar, I am not going to dragged into an argument about DCGirl on this thread. I am staying away from that thread, as I don't espouse violence against men OR women, and I think that violence is never, ever cute.

Very true. People should not dish out what they can't take. I don't mind male bashing jokes when a woman is willing laugh at my jokes but too often they want the freedom to say whatever they want about us but we better walk on eggshells for them. It doesn't work that way with me.

I consider myself attractive and very feminine, but I could still rock at short-stop and pitcher on my softball team. I had an Ozzie Smith autographed glove, and I loved the popping sound it would make when I caught a whistling line-drive. ;)

And I was the forward on an All-Boy's soccer team when I was a kid. And you know what? The guys on my own team couldn't handle that and would purposely kick me in the shins. :(

Who said we all wanted one?

True. But it would stand to reason that people who post on a board about dating would be interested in it.

I also concede that if you are a guy, you may not want another guy around.

Dude we deal with it every day!

In real life.

It is just the way it is. You don't get your panties in a bunch every time a guy thinks you cannot do the job because you lack a penis. Or thinks your only worth your weight in boobs.

I work in the construction industry.... and I tell ya until I deal with what men dish out every day.... and it ain't no big thing. By the end of the day they have more respect for me because I dish it back at them and joke around.

This chick can catch but I don't run..... I make men do the running for me! :lmao:

This board is not all about dating.

And not everyone who is interested in a relationship will have the same opinion.

Angry bitter dudes are just as bad as angry bitter women.

Gak ...... who wants to hang with that!

Let your hair down..... or whatever it is you men folk do.... enjoy life a little.

get the stick outta your butt and laugh a little!

"you men folk" LOL! Now THAT was funny!

Making a quick reference to my last post (#29) I think what I'm seeing here is not that one or the other *has* a better sense of humor, but that we perceive humor differently.

Let's face it, there hasn't been any seriously funny and famous female comedians since Lucy (Arnez) Ball, Phyllis Diller, or Carol Burnette. They performed schtick comedy that everyone could laugh at, and weren't afraid of poking fun at the men in their lives as well as themselves and women in general. They didn't take either themselves or anyone else seriously, and we all laughed.

It's an unfortunate byproduct of the feminist movement that demands women to reverse that, and any woman who dares defy them by actually making some seriously funny jokes about women in any way becomes excommunicated from their gender by their sisters.

Now, we have female comics who make fun of men in general to get "cheap-shot" giggles from the ladies in the audience, and spend the rest of the night talking about their nether parts and their menstrual cycles.

This is some seriously UN-FUNNY stuff, girls, whether you want to admit it or not. No wonder they can't make it into the Comedy Hall of Fame.

If a man got up on stage and made a bunch of anti-woman jokes, and spent the evening talking about jerking off, where would he be today? Go ask Andrew "Dice-man" Clay.

Do you need a tissue?

Again men are so damn fragile and sensitive.

I suppose that is the fault of women. :lmao:

I am starting to view all men as carbon copies of Jethro Bodine.

(so easy to rile them up!)

(waiting)........... :lmao:

ed, I am in agreement with your post #69. I think you have a fair and valid point. Emancipation has a lot going for it, but it's also been a source of problems. I see that. Even said so myself a while ago, in another thread, as I recall.....

Tis not some sort of sexist attack....

seriously... guys can be so sensitive.... it is hard to believe.

They rip on eachother.... no issue.

And over and over and over again they blame women for the woes - emasculation, creating their sensitivity, it's the mother......women have jobs, .....

just read the threads here.

How can a woman or any person make you feel bad if you know you are superior?

How can a woman or any person make you feel bad if you know you are superior?

That's just it. We know we're not. That's been driven into our "male" heads since we were old enough to attend public schools. We just get tired of having to *prove* we know it by enduring the careless and thoughtless jibes of women who think they're the first ones to take a stand for the paradigm of *womenousity* by throwing it in our faces a little more often than necessary. Some of us can laugh it off, others aren't quite as thick skinned, and are offended by it, and others are unfortunately drawn into arguments over it.

Annie Oakley

Admiral Grace Hopper

Lucille Ball, Phylis Diller, Carol Burnette (because I mentioned them earlier)

Marie Curie

Joan of Ark

and many others

These are the great and true Feminists of our world, and they are the ones that women of today should try to emulate.

As for the topic of "Maturity", I think this particular thread does an exceptionally good job of showing we all stand equally when it comes to "acting one's age".

I'm immature and I like it, I have no problem with my girlfriend calling me a freak, it's all fun and games. Some men get so uptight like a Polly Bird.
