This Oct is our 15 year anniversary together.

Any good ideas what to get him? This past Xmas I bought him an Xbox360, which has been alot of fun..Would it be too crazy to get a Wii? I know it's something we'd both use and enjoy, and get a workout.

My usual gifts to him in the past have been gc's to various home hardware stores or computer stores..Which he loves because he then gets to pick out whatever he needs/wants.

Thanks in advance..

15 years huh....... isn't that the tradtional crystal?

I am sure he would love a crystal vase!!

:p

I believe it is the gift of wii for modern folks! Anything less would be tacky.

 He'd probably break it by accident. Oh no, wait, that would be ME, the big clutz here.

I am leaning towards the Wii. He's gonna be completely shocked if I buy him one.

We love our Wii. Really can't go wrong with that one!

Or a big flat-panel TV.

How competitive are the two of you? The Wii would be a fun gift. I bought my 60+ parents one and they love it. My wife and I were able to try it out on a visit and want to get one for ourselves. Get some of the games you can play together (bowling we really liked). This, in my opinion, can be a video setup for couples more so than the 360 or PS. Loser can give the other a massage and then go from there... The gift that keeps on giving!;)

Wii actually sounds like fun, and I'm not normally into that kind of stuff. However, if it's something you know you BOTH will get good use (and enjoyment) from, definitely go for it!

A Wii with a new flat screen hung on the bedroom wall....

How about a new shower massager sprayer thing.....

My suggestion may be a little different, but, since you asked. You could wear some NEW sexy ;):love:lingure*Sp:love:;)(something that you know that he would like to see you in!;)), wrap yourself up the best way you can in wrapping paper, and have him unwrap you slowly while you both kiss.;) Anything after that is your decision, but, I think you know where I'm going with this!;)

Either that, or a new PS3:p I think hubby may choose the former, if he has any sense!;)

The Wie Idea's ok too.

Ha!

OK, I am leaning more and more towards the Wii. Flatscreen would have to be his bday or Xmas.

Plus, the Wii would be good exercise over the winter months since it's not like either of us will be out and about in the evening, doing our walks.

Thanks everyone!

We recently got the Wii Fit for the Wii. It's a lot of fun and the whole family is enjoying it.

PS it also helps with coordination!

Does he have a surround sound sytem? It adds much fun to XBox games and you can get a decent one for $300 or so. Although if he's a geek (like me :)), he's probably already got one in place...

Yup we have surround already (hockey is fanastic on SS!) and yes he is a geek like you! :p

He constantly is looking for new computer stuff, going to computer shows, etc..etc...

I think portraits are very good for anniversary gift. And Romantic dinner or a weekend road trip somewhere you would both enjoy

I suggest:

His and her's shower heads... :p Oh, get your "Wii" and play with it together, yes you two will get a work out. :p;)

I'll skip the crystal.

a4a... I see a business opportunity and I think WWIU is a good test consumer!

Romantic dinner and a weekend away sounds good - But the portraits would make us laugh too hard. Neither of us want a mug shot hanging on the wall! Unless it became a dartboard! :p:laugh: Thanks for the suggestion though..

2 chics at the same time. Perhaps go visit your mother so he can have the weekend to drink beer, surf for porn and hit the strip clubs with his friends, bonus points if you stop at the bank before you leave and get him a stack of crisp $1's for tips and $20's for lap dances.

Uhhh, thanks for your f**ked up suggestions, but no thanks. Won't be taking your advice anytime soon.

Is this a gift meant for him or a gift meant for you?

If it's meant for him, skip the portraits and other hallmark crap, give him a simple coupon, printed on your home printer. That coupon will be good for one evening with you, wearing the outfit of his choice, you will cook him a steak dinner with all of the trimmings, you will serve him his beverage of choice all evening... and you will promise to say only select key, phrases, things like"would you like another beer?" "do you want me on my knees, my back or on my belly" "Would you prefer to watch sports now or play your favorite video game?""

Steak and a BJ.. perfect, unforgettable gift!

If he likes gadgets, you can get him one of those small PC's or a DS. :D:o

You can go for something artsy like a framed painting of the two of you. I am sure you could find some art student to do it from a few photos. Or write him a poem. We'll help you.

My dear Hubby

You became chubby

But I don't mind

I still love your hind.

If you could do it

more often than not

You'd be hot.

Oh, my God.

Feel free to use my poem royalty free. I just wrote it for you.

This is such a great idea for a 15th anniversary! I wonder why more wives don't do this more often - and not just for anniversaries, but every day.
