mas21 Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 So this bothers me alot. Long story short my ex from a long time ago has moved on and dating/living with another girl. I hurt him by moving away and breaking up with him a long time ago.... well anytime i speck with him which is every couple of weeks, he always says "i still want to get together sometime". Yet has not made any effort to actually do that... Why does he say that without actually setting a time... I have tried in the last year to meet up and he wasnt having it, now the last couple of months he has said how he wants to get together and im not quite sure the point in it without actually doing it.
Rafa Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 Maybe he does want to get together but it doesn't sound like it's a big priority for him as he's moved on with his life. Also the new girl may not like the idea. Perhaps it's just one of those things people say sometimes but they don't really intend to put any effort in to make it actually happen - a kind of take-it-or-leave-it attitude. Why do you want to meet up with him, are you looking to reconcile the relationship with him, or is it just for old times sake?
