cerebralarcadia Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 here's the situation: right now this girl and i like each other. she's the touchy sort..made the first move to hold my hand in the club and leans on me a fair bit and stuff. we've been contacting each other mainly thru sms and msn and the occasional phone call and we've met up only twice. conversation in person typically doesnt get too exciting or interesting..to me its 'cause she tends to become -slightly- tense when with me (lol maybe cos shes too happy inside, i dont know) we're in our second week of knowing each other and what im trying to do is to capitalise on/grow whatever good emotions/feelings of attraction we have for each other before they fade, and i plan to achieve this by initiating a more intimate level of physical contact the next time we meet...like giving her a nice hug or maybe kissing her cheek. is this a wise move, or would it be a mistake doing such a thing at this point in time? and how do i make her feel more comfortable when she's around me? thanks in advance for any input! (would especially appreciate advice from girls, since a vast majority of my close friends are male.)
Isolde Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 OMG are you serious? You are at serious risk of losing any chance you might have with her unless you start becoming more aggressive NOW. You need to be hugging and kissing her on the lips by the third date or you will be friendzoned. You seem confident that she likes you, so what the heck do you have to lose? Take it from me: when a guy doesn't show physical interest, I assume that he's not attracted to me.
