Dreading it already. It's her birthday soon too. We've been apart for 5 months now, she's with someone else and apparently very happy. I've been ok, but have to admit that the first time I hear Mariah Carey's "All I want for Christmas is You" I will probably go to pieces. Even welling up now as I type this.

 

I'm dreading it. I wish I could have found someone too...

I don't know what is more tragic, the fact that I'm dreading Christmas so soon, or the fact that I've admitted that a Mariah Carey song might have an effect on me...:laugh:

don't worry mate, i'm dreading the christmas holidays too. all i can think about is the plans we had for the break, and spending new year's together. he isn't in another relationship yet but who knows how many girls he'll meet? :(

i won't worry about any mariah carey song though, haha

What about totally changing your routine/reality for the holidays? Why not book a trip someplace? In order to move on past an ex, we need to rewire those memories we associate with certain events/days etc. A trip somewhere will definitely help. Even if it's a weekend getaway. Just something to look forward to, other than Mariah Carey :)
