Mr Biscuits Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Dreading it already. It's her birthday soon too. We've been apart for 5 months now, she's with someone else and apparently very happy. I've been ok, but have to admit that the first time I hear Mariah Carey's "All I want for Christmas is You" I will probably go to pieces. Even welling up now as I type this. I'm dreading it. I wish I could have found someone too...
superd Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Hey dude, don't worry about Christman so soon. Live in today.
Author Mr Biscuits Posted September 27, 2008 Author Posted September 27, 2008 I don't know what is more tragic, the fact that I'm dreading Christmas so soon, or the fact that I've admitted that a Mariah Carey song might have an effect on me...
Intergalactic Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 don't worry mate, i'm dreading the christmas holidays too. all i can think about is the plans we had for the break, and spending new year's together. he isn't in another relationship yet but who knows how many girls he'll meet? i won't worry about any mariah carey song though, haha

In order to move on past an ex, we need to rewire those memories we associate with certain events/days etc. A trip somewhere will definitely help. Even if it's a weekend getaway. Just something to look forward to, other than Mariah Carey
