Bells Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 I don't get this, I go out with some of these people, and there's this woman that I get along with in that group...as far as other friends, both male and female. She's very friendly in person, even suggested going out with her and some other people some other time. She later adds me to her Myspace...but when I try to "chat" with her in an email...she ignores me. Then, when I see her again, she's all friendly with me, wanting to talk to me and stuff, no problem. She's even put pics up on her Myspace gallery with me and her in said pics. Personally this is the kind of behaviour I first experienced from a person. Typically, they USUALLY are responsive, even if they are being "Short" with me.
superd Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 Maybe she doesn't like chatting/sending emails over the internet.
Lucky_One Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 I would much rather talk in person than in a chat box or email. There are way too many chances to misconstrue an online conversation!
carhill Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 A less savory reason is another interested party (as in SO/H) and/or one can more freely lie and gaslight in person than in writing since there's no record of phone and in-person conversations. Anyone who has been gaslighted will understand what I mean The woman has a MS account and uses the internet to make friends. Something's up...
