Author blueberry Posted September 26, 2008 Author Posted September 26, 2008 (I think you mean 'monosyllabic'..... ) . Yes I did Thanks smartass
Author blueberry Posted September 26, 2008 Author Posted September 26, 2008 No, he is in internal comms and I'm a project manager (HP). Regardless - neither of us are above the other, not that it would make one iota of difference. I fail to see the relevence. Sorry - re-read this and I didn't mean to come across as being so curt. Just that it's 1230am here and only now arrived home from work. What I meant to get across is that what either of us do has very little relevence to this situation. We work together. End of.
jj33 Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 I didnt meant to pry I only meant that if you reported to him or his group in some way it would be harder because he would have license to email all the time using work as an excuse, ask you to do things for him while he is in Mauritius etc. As it is you have more leeway to let him sort his own IT and other problems himself which means less contact.
Author blueberry Posted September 26, 2008 Author Posted September 26, 2008 Sorry jj - you weren't prying at all. (how can you when we are baring our souls here). Apologies, I'm just at the end of a very trying week (anyone reading this in global IT or finance will know exactly what I am saying!!!!!!) Anyhooo - I'm not prepared to report him or anything along the HR lines. I don't feel pressured or intimidated by him - only annoyed. Yes - he has his own assistant, which made his earlier email query to me *that* much more pathetic. But thats cool - makes him that much easier to read. He didn't need to contact me at all - but he did - all over a silly IT problem. Men. They are like an open book for the most part.
jj33 Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Im laughing next time you can just forward it to his PA. Let her respond. Or better, forward to her with a "I think MM sent this to me by mistake and copy him... I hope he burns his delicate parts in Mauritius

Or better, forward to her with a "I think MM sent this to me by mistake and copy him... I hope he burns his delicate parts in Mauritius Absolutely. I should have done exactly that already (I am talking about forwarding to his PA *and* burning his private parts )
Author blueberry Posted September 27, 2008 Author Posted September 27, 2008 *and* burning his private parts ) Not that there would be much to burn.....
jj33 Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Not that there would be much to burn..... OMG I am laughing so hard... are you sure we were not with the same man... One more reason that its good things didnt work out... after a while size does matter... they saved us from a lifetime of yearning for something "more"
Author blueberry Posted September 27, 2008 Author Posted September 27, 2008 possibly we were with the same man jj - did he used say "fast hips make up for it" ?? lololololol
Author blueberry Posted September 27, 2008 Author Posted September 27, 2008 lol no .... but thats very funny Yeah - so were his "fast hips"
jj33 Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Well his hips wont be moving so fast after his privates are burnt...
