I am going out with Irene tomorrow night(Friday).

 

Irene is an attractive 21-year old who I met about a year ago. She is single and from a conservative background(still lives at home).

 

Our relationship(as friends?) started at a book exhibition and we discovered a common interest in amateur acting(theater).

 

Irene was never really a priority for me, not because of a lack in looks or personality, but because I felt the age difference was a bit large.

But there was chemistry between us.

 

We have gone out maybe 5 times to dinner, a theater play and for drinks.

Not much for a year but I was preoccupied with other matters.

 

Tomorrow night we are going to a new Indian place and

I think I need to put my worries aside and make a move on this young lady.

 

I think that you could both be potentially wasting your time if you are certain that you dont want a LTR. (Sorry but I am unsure whether you have stated this or whether I have read into your post something different) BUT, I suppose that sometimes people have in between relationships which satisfy certain needs.. but I am not sure how you will look to other potential woman in the future who see you dating someone so very young. It may put them off you..

 

BUT, I have only ever gone for older men so I can understand your situation in some regards. Mostly my attraction to older men developed because of a sense of security within sharing mature interests. I like that you have found someone to share your interests with. I would just say enjoy yourselves and just be honest at every juncture - I dont think that there is anything else that you can do really. This should be seduction enough.

I really like this young lady. She is attractive, intelligent and caring.

We have common interests and I hope to take things further.

It is not that I don't want an LTR with her, it is just that I acknowledge the difficulties that arise from our age difference.

That is why I am prepared to enjoy the time with her.

If you like her that much, then be straight up. What is the harm in approaching this with directness? if you really believe she wants what you want, just tell her you just want to sleep with her and have no other intentions. That would be the fair thing to do.
