Does anyone have any experience dating an ex-supervisor? What was your relationship like when you were working together?

Yes, I once dated the dance captain on a gig, and once our relationship went sour, he made my life miserable, and even went so far as to tell the producer a lot of garbage about me, which hurt me professionally.

Seriously - it is NEVER advisable to crap where you eat, unless you don't plan on eating there too long, or don't care what your meal tastes like.

He just seems like such a good guy that he wouldn't make it awkward if I didn't.

Examples that you gave could mean a lot of things. I would more go by what happens when you sit together looking over printouts.

As in is there lingering eye contact? Does he sometimes stumble on his words just by looking at you? etc...

I don't know. I'm not good at picking up on signals like that, but in my gut I feel like there's mutual chemistry/ that I'm hot enough to be desired by everyone. Is that bad?

Girl - they all do in the beginning, don't they! ;)

But lets be real, Spookie. Youre not a girl who has clean breakups - you tend to leave men in fetal little heaps of pain.

Boys, Jilly. I've only ever dated boys.

True - but do you want to test this in the workplace?

The workplace is the absolute best place to find potential mates. You already have something in common. Now it's time to get some skin-on-skin action.

No, but it's not that easy to just meet guys I like in real life. Even if I like them, they end up lacking in one department or another, and I lose respect for them. It's always the same story.

My boss though... so far I'm really impressed (and intimidated by the number of women he must meet).

I wonder how he tricked you into thinking he is so cool... I should learn that trick

Isn't it fun to do things that we know are wrong? Mmmmm... delicious forbidden fruit.
