There are many advantages to going natural. I had my last two this way and plan on having my third this way. If you are considering it, then research it so you're prepared when you go in.

As far as posting your baby pics here, I think all newborns look the same and so wouldn't be worried about who would see them. Still, I wouldn't post my newborn's pics up so I can understand. At least tell us how it went and how much she weighs. I'm excited for you, good luck!

Thank you! I think she will arrive next week. It's been nice not having to work  Especially during these bad economic times.

I'll have to see how I feel once she is born whether or not I will post a photo. I probably will, but only before her looks begin to change

We'll see...I'm not crazy about the idea of posting photos of my baby on the internet. But, we'll see :)

Foot prints then! :):lmao:

I agree. I would love to show off my sweeties, but I don't feel good about that.:)

Why aren't you on maternity leave yet? Or take the rest of your holidays..

I've been getting Lots of extra sleep lately. Took a long nap after work yesterday, and today I am working from home, so I slept in.

I want to try giving birth naturally at first. I'm not big on pain relievers or any drug for that matter.

And no, I am not getting the father involved...

Just remember- you will hit a point of no return for the epidural!!!

If I have a baby... I think I will go for the epidural. But I am a wimp.

Congrats and best wishes on the arrival of your babe.

Time flies... I remember when you first posted you were pregnant!

I'm so excited for you. Can't wait to hear from you with news!

That's what I decided to do - my son still looks like 95% of most white babies in this world, so I'm not worried about posting pictures of him. When he starts to look more like himself, that's when I'll stop the pics.

As for giving birth - well, I was 100% committed to going without drugs, which is why I chose a birth center. The only option for pain relief that they have is a whirlpool tub! I managed to get into the tub for about 20 minutes. I got too hot. Someone kept putting a cold cloth on my forehead but for some reason I kept throwing the cloth on the floor. :o

I think the important thing to remember is that yes, it will hurt - but it is a strange sort of pain. The entire time I was having the baby, I was totally able to deal with the pain.

Good luck!!!

<---- with those sunglasses, I think little otter has already started practicing going in cognito. Maybe his first words ought to be "no comment":laugh::laugh:

G, hope all is well in your world, and that your little one hits her target date squarely (as in, no extra 2 weeks waiting on her!)

Congratulations!

Best advice? Learn baby sign language. Play music to your daughter now and when she is born, this can be really soothing for both of you. Learn to do baby massages - they absolutely love this!

Make sure that you have the video camera ready.

All the very best,

Eve xx
