A nite in jail for assault is well worth the satisfaction you'll feel. But sounds like you're a little more level headed than I am. It would have nothing to do with her at that point, just settling the disrespect issue between you and him.

And here's another idea - call (best option) or email him and tell him you think he's a ****ing bitch. Tell him if he's man enough to come to your house. That way, HE's going risk going to jail. Have a couple buddies waiting inside your house as he may bring a friend or two. when you open the door, he'll probably swing at you. Then get him in the house and the two of you kick the 5h1t out of him. if he calls the cops, he's going to jail for coming to your house. If he shows the email to anyone, simply say you were responding to his email and you did not intend for him to come over. If he's crazy and stupid as you say, he'll fall right into your trap.

If you dont feel up for all that, let it go. Dont ever speak to that dumb ass bitch again. And definitely tell her parents what a winner she cheated on you wtih.

With the joint account, don't wait until she signs off on it. Just move the money to another account with just your name.

That won't fly. They will request all financial transactions for so many months.

Now if he was to give the money to a family member or friend that he trusts....thats a different story.

If you gave someone else the money, they can't request that person give it back.

Do you know why you love her after what she's done? Are you sure it is love that you have for her? Are you certain it is not your own insecurities talking loud; the fear of the unknown future? The fear of being able to find someone else? You have to ask yourself how this marriage is going to affect you in the long run; think 2-3 years down the line living like this. Your future wife seems disrespectful of your feelings and inconsiderate with her actions or at least this is what we can observe here; she probably has her own insecurities too but are you ready to deal with that? Do you think you deserve a faithful wife who adds to your life or do you think you are a difficult person to be with and deserve this? I don't see anything worth salvaging here.

I recognize that I have some of those insecurities.

But, I have already started the paper work for divorce and I'm not going to change my mind. I mean.... She's still over there. I'm not retarded(anymore).

In addition, I have hired an attorney and he is advising me on the best actions to protect myself. I have already opened a new account and changed my direct deposit. If she wants to try to fight me for the little bit in our joint account, she is welcome to try.

Luckily, the bulk of my savings is in an account that has always been mine. In my state, it means that it's mine for good.

Have you told her parents yet? I know, I know, one catastrophe at a time! I just don't want her to twist all this around on you to make you look bad, when she was the one that did this to you.

I have spoken with her parents.

I like her parents a lot. So I told them what they needed to know without making them feel even worse.

So, I gotta ask, what did they say, well, in general.......

Without being too specific...

They were apologetic. They sounded really torn up. I have a really good relationship with them, and they can't understand what is going on anymore than I can.

They asked if I'd spoken to her, I guess she isn't returning their calls. They said they were praying for both of us. They understood that I want a divorce, and they are going to help make sure she signs.

Again... Without being too specific. I gave them all the information they need to save her.
