I have been talking to my Theraphist and i have some things i need to get out . She suggest i speak to E. Which one would you be more open to a letter or face to face. I am confused..

It really depends on if you should have a conversation with this person, or just vent and tell them what's on your mind.

 

If its a vent...a letter works...but you get no feedback.

 

If you want to TALK about things...obviously a letter would be useless.

I'd write a letter.

 

Then I'd burn it before anyone else saw it. Writing things out is great therapy; it helps you to see how you really feel about things.

 

If you feel you really need to talk about it, write ten letters, burn them, then talk.

It really depends on what is the nature of what you need to get out.

 

You know E better than any of us.... if your therapist suggesting speaking, then why not go with that advice?
