mia1266 Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 Why do some people in society have the attitude that those who couldnt swing arent "mature enough" to handle it. Or that non swingers have "hang ups". Isnt the jealousy that comes from your mate having sex with another person a natural & biological response and not something pathological?
CAT100 Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 People in society have a whole range of views & opinions, this is just the way of the world. IMO to enter into the world of swinging, the relationship must be totally secure & free from any insecurities or jealousy. Both partners must be fully consensual & able to really talk openly & honestly. This does involve a certain degree of maturity, yes. For most people, it would be a 'natural' response to not want to see their partner having sex with someone else! However, some couples can view this in a different way, and are so secure in their relationship that they do not have a problem with it, they actually enjoy it. As long as both parties are consenting, happy and not being pressured into it, then its up to them Different strokes for different folks I guess..
