norajane Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 Why is it socially acceptable for the bigger woman to get a reduction, but not okay for the smaller woman to get implants? I've always been curious about that dichotomy. Many women who get reductions get them for reasons of physical discomfort, whereas many who get implants do it for psychological or social reasons. It's just like nose jobs...people who really have deviated septums (septi? septa?) and need to get surgery to fix that are seen different than people who do it for cosmetic reasons. Why any of us should care what other people do is the real question!
tanbark813 Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 To be fair, I will vouch for SG having nice boobs. The implants are more below the surface than the stereotypical porn star implants.
Jilly Bean Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 Thanks, Tan. Your boobs were pretty nice too. Ewww!!!! He has man boobs?!
Star Gazer Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 Why any of us should care what other people do is the real question! As usual, very true, NJ!
CandyGirlXO Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 Its not that I am really offended. I like them and that's all that matters. But what I don't understand is why some posters have to go on about how gross fake boobs are. That's like me going on about how real boobs are saggy and they have no fullness. By the time your 40 you will be able to tie them into a bow! I know this thread was regarding reduction... You said you wanted them perkier so I did address the issue just fine. Do what makes you happy, not your bf and not other people.
Star Gazer Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 Ewww!!!! He has man boobs?! No, no, no!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Huge miscommunication!!! CHEST. Nice chest.
CandyGirlXO Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 Most people don't know there are 2 types of implants. Over the muscle: can increase the size A LOT! Porn stars have these and they are firmer. Under the muscle: can not increase that much in size, looks more natural, softer because your real boob is on top!
jerbear Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 I'm an equal opportunity breast and leg man! I care about the shape, her body form, and how she looks in a halter top dress with high side slit.

If/when I'm asked, I say they're "half mine." I started as a B, ended up a D...that makes me half real-me!
tanbark813 Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 CHEST. Nice chest. Thanks! I try to get to the gym when I can. *flexes*
Dirk Diggler Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 I am starting to get offended. I am 5'2 105lbs, and my breasts are now a 34C, does that make me unproportioned??? I don't think so. Actually that's a pretty stacked rack for a girl your size!
Jersey Shortie Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 Reductions or implants, women have alot of preasure, even from men, to look a certain way. And considering that breasts are such a feminine part of women, it is a senstive topic. There have been a number of times my gf asked me if I thought a girl was hot, usually a famous actress but sometimes normal people. Usually I say yes and then she proceeds to critique her hair, shape of her lips, clothing, whatever. I just drop it at that point because arguing how hot another woman is with my gf is just going down a bad road. But in my head I'm thinking, "Whatever, she looks good to me." Yeah, they were trying toconvince you that the girl isn't as attractive as you think because you were ogling other women with them. Women put this pressure on each other to look a certain way. Not men. Okay, I will try to remember that next time I see Maxim, Playboy or any hint of pornography. I don't ignore the fact that women are critical of each other. But I also don't ignore the fact the impact and influnce men have when it also comes to this. The genders play off of each other. And if you think men ahve no influnence over women and their sexuality, you aren't being logical. And JS, I know I've said this before, but you have a very skewed perception of men. How you think we think is very different from reality. I have a realistic perception of men based on what they show is true.
melodymatters Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 I was A 5'2-ish, 100 lb'er and was a nautural D, Guys loved it, but clothers never fit right and I was/am so petite. After my daughter and breast feeding for a full yr, they went down to a B which I like much better. My guy "market research" lol, seems to agree with the guys here, in that whatever makes the woman feel happier, sexier, and more self confident ! ...Plus, lets just say, after my butt, it APPEARS my nipples are my best feature
Trialbyfire Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 What matters the most, is how you feel about yourself. Never, ever make change for anyone else. Most often you will regret this change if it's something like cosmetic surgery or if it's a core change, it won't take. I sit somewhere in the middle, nothing exaggerated or too small. Just slender, overall.
Dirk Diggler Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 I have a realistic perception of men based on what they show is true. Oh come on, men love boobs of all sizes. Regardless if we see them on a woman walking past, in a magazine, a hollywood movie, or... *a porno*! If anything men are showing their admiration and well that they adore...boobs! So what you are saying is if a man is adoring your boobs, you'll automatically hate him for being a man and disregard the genuine interest because he's probably just thinking of some porno?
Dirk Diggler Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 I sit somewhere in the middle, nothing exaggerated or too small. Just slender, overall. I thought the flow of conversation was talking about boobs here!? Don't bring your preferences for penis size into this, you're just hijacking the thread
CaliGuy Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 Geeez I hate these threads about implants. I have them and all these people are talking about how gross they are! Not me Can we just say do whatever makes YOU happy INSTEAD of BASHING every female on here that has had implants! Yes! I don't see the need to talk about how some people think implants are so disgusting. I agree I don't like the huge huge implants, but a normal size is fine. But to each their own! I'm agreeing with ya. I am starting to get offended. I am 5'2 105lbs, and my breasts are now a 34C, does that make me unproportioned??? I don't think so. Not in my book.

tanbark813 Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 Yeah, they were trying toconvince you that the girl isn't as attractive as you think because you were ogling other women with them. Uhhh, what? Attractiveness is subjective. A woman is as attractive as I think she is, to me. She may not be as attractive to someone else--another guy, my gf, whomever--but that does not reduce her attractiveness in my eyes or make me wrong. And I wasn't ogling women either. My gf makes comments about other women much more than I do. But, of course, in JS's eyes men are responsible for all the evil in the world. Okay, I will try to remember that next time I see Maxim, Playboy or any hint of pornography. Cool. Also remember it when you see Cosmo or any number of daytime talk shows with women as their target audience.

And I wasn't ogling women either. My gf makes comments about other women much more than I do. But, of course, in JS's eyes men are responsible for all the evil in the world. There is a huge difference between being open and discussing the things men do that are not always good and saying men are responsible for all the evil in the world. I'm sorry you don't see the difference. Cool. Also remember it when you see Cosmo or any number of daytime talk shows with women as their target audience. What does this have to do with what I said? My point with mentioning the men's mediums is men say certain things aren't important or whatever, but it's clear that they are. And when you have men who buy into stereotypes that are found in men's magazines, you can't expect women not to evaluate themselves based on what men are showing they are buying into. It's that simple.
