ReggaeLover Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 I have a major problem. I always get tongue-tied when I see the girl I'm into. Whenever I see her at school she waves and says hi to me. I can usually splutter out a hello and a weak seeming wave in return, but thats about it! I just find it incredibly difficult to start a conversation with her. By the time my legs get the message to start moving closer to her and start talking to her, shes gone off to her class, and I'm left feeling like a dork. Is there anyone else who's ever experienced this? More importantly is there anyone who can help me out? I have lots and lots of things I want to talk to her about, but it feels like my brain and body aren't connected sometimes! I can talk fine to her online for hours at a time but I'm struggling in real life. I'm really frustrated about this! Thanks for any replies. (P.S: Incase no one realised... I am a bit shy)
dcgirl33 Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 Next time say, "Hey, what's up?" and beat her to it. Don't let her say "Hi" first. This will make you appear more relaxed.
Author ReggaeLover Posted September 17, 2008 Author Posted September 17, 2008 Thanks, I did that today and it worked! Had a very pleasant conversation, and I didn't stutter at all, which is a big bonus for me. Now I just need to get her to go on a date with me and I'm all set
