celinedion1 Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 Is it possible to fall in love in just 2 days? My ex went back to meet a girl online two days ago and he's now claiming that he's in love with her. Is that even possible?
Beyond Eternity Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 I don't think you can know that for sure ('you' as in your ex). So I doubt he's fallen for her this fast. He's probably incredibly attracted by her personality (as they haven't met in person I take it?) and is over-exaggerating the joy and interest in communicating with her. It could be something he's doing to you too but I'd have to know more about you and your ex to be more clear like, how did it end between you two? are you friends? how long ago did you break up and why? has he ever met this girl in person?
Meaplus3 Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 Two days seems like a very short time to know if your in love. I'm sure he's most likely very infatuated with her is all. AP:)
Author celinedion1 Posted September 16, 2008 Author Posted September 16, 2008 we were seeing each other until recently, with talk about a future. broke up cause he met this girl online, yes he's with her at the current moment (in person). According to him there best friends and im not longer his best friend (ive been by his side for 10 years). Im just a friend to him now and this girl who hes known in person for 2 days is now his best friend. When I talked to him it was like talking to a wall. Maybe because I've closed off my heart. He claims that there's nothing romantic between them however his actions tell otherwise.
Art_Critic Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 It takes longer than two days for a pimple to come to head... No way a person can fall in love in two days.. It's all physical lust being mistaken as love.. It can form into love and does happen on occasion but it is more than likely just lust and will fade over time. I do know of a couple that met and 2 weeks later got married and have been married over 35 years.. it does happen.. but it is very very rare
