o0oscar0o Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 my wife and i have been married for about 7 years and she is the type that thrives on new things. a date out for dinner and a drink or two isnt her thing all the time and i am struggling to come up with some new ideas. i will also start this off with some caveats. one, she is very picky. some nights bowling would be awesome, some nights its stupid. two, we have two kids and that really can kill the spontaniety (sp?). three, we also are mr and mrs howell. we have a limited budget so an over night stay at a local spa would break the bank. we are supposed to go out tonite and i am suggesting a place that has darts and billiards, but she may not go for that. i would like to pick some brains and see what other ideas people have besides that.. if not for tonite for other nites also.
rod_in_gtown Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 Weren't mr and mrs howell the rich couple on gilligan's island? Are these dates limited to night-time activites? if not, look into local parks, caves? (DC has Luray caverns which are great for a different date). Comedy clubs can be ok depending on your budget, they are cheaper during the week than on weekends.
