Have fun, go to parties, do stupid things. College girls are doing just that. Don't stress about a relationship just yet. You'll have plenty of time for that once you're out of college.

"fun" is a question of what you think "fun" is.

Let me first ask you a question. Do you want to get married and have a family in your life?

If the answer is YES, then I suggest you try to find a RL. Find that girl you click with, fall in love with, and maybe you two decide to marry after college. Doesn't mean you two have to suddenly crank out children, but too many at your age think there will be someone waiting for them when they hit 26-28. Experience has shown me that isn't true.

I see plenty of men and women who kept thinking they need to be single, sleep around, have fun, etc now getting near 30 and complaining how they can't find anyone decent. Men complaining how all the women they meet are unattractive, "messed up", or want some calibur of male that doesn't exist. Women complaining how all the men they meet are unattractive and/or they don't want to commit as much as they want to sleep around. If they all want marriage and families they would have had better luck seeking out a mate earlier in life rather than put it off til when it gets way harder and for some the biologial clock is ticking away.

The people who complain that they can't have any fun in a RL are the ones who either want to sleep around or they are with someone whom they can't build fun with. Sex with a GF can be as wild and exciting as it can be with a random girl. You both can date, go out, have fun, see your own friends, party, bang each other, travel, etc.

You just can't sleep around.

I'm 35...and believe me when you get older it gets that much harder to find a good mate when you put it off. So many did and now it becomes the problem of trying to find an attractive mate who isn't "messed up" in some way.

Commitment isn't an end to fun, it's more a commitment to make that fun with one person. My suggestion is similar to everyone. Have fun, be crazy if you want, but if you happen to meet that wonderful woman...don't pass her up thinking you're too young and want to have time as a single male.

You just might wake up years later wishing you didn't toss her away. You'll be the one asking why every woman you meet is so "messed up"...because all the good ones will be married and/or in deep RLs.

I want a family with kids and an amazing wife. It just seems like right now i have a hard time trusting people. Ive seen so many people and have been cheated on...i just dont want to deal with it now but i guess i have too. I would NEVER cheat...but ive see it so many times with girls...i just dont know what to do.

OK...you need to not worry so much.

I've learned in life that it's better to KNOW a person than to WONDER about a person. I've had friends in my past who would get all paranoid about their women. They'd wonder all the time if their GFs were cheating on them and even get crazy when their GFs go out with their gal pals. They would think the gal pals are going to tell her to dump him or push her into meeting other guys.

I'd tell these guys that if they have to worry that much about losing their GFs, then they either are doing something bad to make said women leave, or they never had those women to begin with. They would ask me why I never worry about my women cheating on me...pulling out the "you never know" song and dance.

I tell them all, as I do now to anyone else...I'd rather have a woman BETRAY me and thus I'll know who she is and what kind of person she is, rather than spend my life wondering if she'll end things with me or run off with another man. If a woman is going to cheat, then I'd rather see it and know who she is. Until then I trust them and treat them well.

I've been dumped for other guys, but I've never been cheated on. I never gave them a reason, and even the women who dumped me for other guys felt compelled to respect me and end things first as opposed to cheat. They felt I was too good a person to screw over.

Remember that. Women are emotional. Even if they want to be bad, they will still fear hurting someone more than anything. Maternal thing. Look why so many woman will try to "protect your feelings" in a rejection over just being blunt and honest.

You want a family and kids. My suggestion is you spend your time dating, meeting women, getting to know them, and seek out a good woman who will love you and want the same thing. Many women at college age are doing the "crazy college girl" thing, but there are plenty of them who aren't. Maybe these good girls won't be at a frat party or wet t-shirt contest at Spring Break. However, they might be at the cafe studying. Maybe they will join a local group for some charity work as opposed to a sorority.

You need to find them. Be a good man to them, be an adult to them. Date, take chances, have fun, fall in love, and don't be in a hurry. No one said you had to have the marriage and family now...but I still stand by that if you, like many, think you have all the time in the world, then you might suddenly be out of college and wondering why dating is so much more difficult.

It's all a leap of faith, and you have to take it. Don't worry so much about being betrayed. I was lucky because the "bad girls" were never attracted to me, so I didn't end up with women who would betray me. Just enjoy life, take the wild flings when they come (if you're single) and keep your eyes open for that good woman you can be more with.

Love is supposed to be fun, wonderful, and happy...not some big worry, fear, or hassle.

I just started college in the fall. I am currently in a relationship. My opinion is that you should have fun, and if you find someone you really like, go ahead and have a relationship. Do not really put so much thought into whether or not you want a relationship, just have fun and see what comes your way.

Agreed.

Besides...you can have tons of naughty college fun with a significant other as well. ;)

I'm in college, but I'm not like going and SEARCHING for someone. I would just let it happen. Study and have fun; you will never know when that special girl will appear.

I'm dating someone right now, and we met unexpectedly at the club before summer ended. I wasn't planning on dating anybody any time soon, he just popped into my life. I'd say don't rush into relationships. Cuz school and relationships...take A LOT OF TIME....
