I've been dating a guy for a month already. From my other thread, my family dislikes him, PERIOD. He did mention to me that his aunt wants to meet me one of these days. He doesn't live with his father, and his mother passed away. I already met his younger brother.

Would it be better for me to meet his family first or him meeting mine first? Also need to consider that my family dislikes him and doesn't want to meet him, or give him the time of day to talk/know to him.

Also, his cousin is getting married soon. IF he asks me to go with him, would that count as meeting his ENTIRE family, immediate and distant relatives?

I haven't read your other thread apparently, but how can your family pass judgement on whether or not they like someone if they haven't met them?

that's because I tell them how i met him and where we went on dates. keeping it short, i met this guy at the club (a no no), and we just CLICKED...i'm a conservative person and the so called "good girl" and my family is very traditional and conservative as well. Everytime he and I went out, it's either drinking or going to bars. My family dislikes him being an alcoholic and that he's always getting me home somewhat buzzed or DRUNK.

If your family don't like him and don't want to meet him I would skip that experiment in utter awkwardness - it will just be a horrible tense situation where everyone feels uncomfortable.

As regards meeting his family, just let him know you're open and willing to meet his aunt let him lead the way with that one.
