Is this your Girlfriend?

I hate getting asked that question when on a first or second date.

 

You run into someone you know while you are on a date, and they ask. "So this is your girlfriend?"

 

I'm sometimes at a loss how to respond. I can't say yes, because she isn't. However, If you say no, it might giveyour date the impression you have no interest in being that in the future.

Just smile and say, "We'll see."

Just say,"She's a very special friend of mine".That's only if the two of you haven't claimed to be in a committed relationship.
