Let's say you invite a girl out to dinner and a movie. She takes one full day to respond and indicates that she just got your message.

She says she's busy on that week but could make it happen the following week.

Is she playing semi-hard to get?

Perhaps, but more likely she's not that interested.

Why do you say that? If she weren't interested, she would've been vague and would not have suggested an alternative.

Haha... :)

Suggest to her that when she 'makes it happen' that she give you a call. Next...

This sounds vague to me:

Nothing is firmed up yet; no agreement on date/day whatsover. With this kind of setting, she can easily come up with another excuse not to see you next week.

No she actually picked a night and it's all set. We've decided on a restaurant as well.

It could go either way Joe. Difficult to say how interested she is.

I guess you will find out first hand.

Well then I guess the question would be "do you think she's playing hard to get?", because we don't know.
