I'm not sure which section to post this in, but seeing as I discovered LS in the midst of a breakup, I figured this is the proper spot to post this thread.

It was during the worst emotional turmoil and pain I had ever felt in my life that I stumbled upon loveshack.org. Thank goodness for that, too!

By reading other people's threads, having people respond to mine, and getting to know a few regulars around here, I was able to slowly pull my head out of the meat grinder. It was the mix of the advice people gave, the empathy for my pain, and the support of many that kept me from quitting my career, selling all my posessions, and moving to live on a beach in Thailand.

Which, of course, still doesn't sound like a bad idea....

Five months later I'm on the road to recovery, been dating, got a promotion, and actually started to see the benefits of single life (partially thanks to a completely different section of LS!!)

Anyways, I wanted to start a thread that raised a glass to LS and it's members. Cheers!

You're very welcome.

You know, I've personally helped so many people that I've lost count. Scary thought, isn't it! It's so easy to forget about the profound insights, and astounding perspectives, that I bring into people's lives on this board. Even easier to take it for granted. Fortunately, for me, I never lose sight of my own brilliance.

You are very humble and never make me laugh. Never.:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:
